PREPARE:
Buy raw almonds whole or raw almond slivers. Soak almonds (and all nuts), for 6 hours to unlock more nutrients.
WAYS TO EAT:
- Add chopped almonds to granola, trail mix, oatmeal, and salads.

Make (or buy) almond butter:
- Put almonds in a food processor and blend until creamy.
- Spread on your toast and top with blueberries and chia seeds.
- Make an almond butter sandwich with whole fruit spread or sliced banana.
- Stir into warm oatmeal.
- Blend into smoothies.

Make almond milk:
- Soak 1 cup of almonds overnight
- Blend with 3 cups water for 1 minute.
- Strain out the almond pulp, and place almond milk in a glass jar. Keeps in your fridge for 1 week.
- Add vanilla and maple syrup to sweeten.
ADD SOME FUN!
Make your own almond butter! Just add 3 cups to a food processor and blend for 20 minutes. Kids will love watching the metamorphosis!
