PREPARE:
From a can - drain into a colander and rinse.Dried - place 1 cup dried beans in a bowl. Cover with water and soak overnight, or 6 hours. Transfer to a pot, cover with fresh water, bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 hour.
WAYS TO EAT:
- Add kidney beans to chili, soups, and stews.
- Toss into salads and grain bowls.

Combine for a three bean salad:
- Add to black beans and northern beans.
- Drizzle with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh herbs.

Blend into a spread:
- Mix with olive oil, garlic, and cumin for sandwiches.
- Use kidney beans instead of ground meat for tacos.
